UNHCR staff register refugees at the Douma registration center on the outskirts of Damascus. Registering with UNHCR ensures that the most vulnerable refugees receive aid.

Refugee children participated in a T-shirt design competition.
A refugee band, "4x4 Too Much Power", successfully performed at Chez Ntemba Night Club in Windhoek on 21 June. The proceeds were donated towards the construction of a women's centre in Osire Refugee Camp.
