World Refugee Day 2004 National Activity Plan: Colombia

In Pasto and Barrancabermeja, UNHCR will organise two rallies with teams comprising internally displaced people, NGOs, government agencies, the private sector, universities and civil society. The aim is to sensitise them on the need for greater efforts to guarantee the rights of internally displaced people.
On 16 June, there will be a press conference to share UNHCR's perception on how social response to the challenges of forced internal displacements has evolved.
On 17 June, two young performers, Fonseca and César López, will hold a concert at Bogota's National Museum to commemorate World Refugee Day. Guests will include representatives of the international community, government agencies and associations for internally displaced people.
