About the Fund
The UN Refugee Agency has created a Refugee-led Innovation Fund which will engage formal and informal Refugee-led Organizations (RLO) to generate local solutions to pressing social challenges. Participating RLOs will benefit from grants, mentorship, technical support, peer learning and a digital community that will capture and share their experience with others.
Through this programme, we seek to reshape the participation of people affected by forced displacement through innovation in humanitarian response. We aim to do this by ensuring their leadership in the identification of challenges and the design of solutions. By building a programme that provides holistic support to people affected by forced displacement, we believe that we can support them to magnify the positive impact of their solutions on communities.
