Public Information

The Public Information unit is responsible for UNHCR’s public image. It is also tasked with developing campaigns to tell the human story of refugees and to promote support for UNHCR’s mission to protect the vulnerable.

UNHCR is always looking for new and inventive ways to communicate. Indeed, in the past years it has developed numerous campaigns on TV, radio, cinema, and social media as well as producing numerous tools such as animation videos and publications. We collaborate on cultural events such as the Valletta Film Festival, to mark World Refugee Day.
