50th session of the UNHCR Executive Committee

The 54 nation Executive Committee - UNHCR's governing body will hold its annual session next week. The main theme of the committee's 50th session will be protection of refugees and security of humanitarian workers. The meeting is public with seats available to the press in the press gallery of Salle XIX of Palais des Nations. The meeting will open at 10:00 with an address by the High Commissioner followed by the Executive Director of UNICEF Carol Bellamy.
