- To sensitize civil society to refugee concerns, a seminar co-hosted either with the National Rights Commission (NHRC) or with the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), will be hosted at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on the challenges of refugee life in urban India.
- By organizing different cultural events at ND YMCA which will focus on the theme, "Hope", the local population will have a chance to learn and share different cultures and traditions.
- UNHCR Chennai is preparing a painting competition in schools/elocutions with refugee children, on the theme "Hope".
