1. Adoption of the agenda
2. Programme and funding matters
The Standing Committee will consider updated information relating to UNHCR's 1997 and 1998 programmes and funding projections entitled Overall Programme and Funding Projections for 1997 and 1998 (EC/48/SC/CRP.4). Selected operational maps, contained in Addendum I, are available at the back of the conference room.
3. Situation reports
The Standing Committee will review UNHCR's activities in Central Asia, South West Asia, North Africa and the Middle East (EC/48/SC/CRP.3).
4. Reports relating to oversight
The Standing Committee will have before it Audit Follow-up: Procurement and Asset Management (EC/48/SC/CRP.5)
5. Management, financial and human resources matters1
Under this agenda item, the Standing Committee will consider the following two sub-items:
(i) An oral report on outsourcing; and
(ii) An Update on Project Delphi (EC/48/SC/CRP.6).
6. Protection/Programme policy issues
The Standing Committee will consider the issue of new approaches to reintegration, including UNHCR's contribution to rehabilitation programmes in post-conflict societies. Discussion will be based on Annual Theme: Repatriation Challenges (A/AC.96/887).
