World Refugee Day 2004 National Activity Plan: Mauritania

Several movies on refugee issues will be shown on 20 June.

UNHCR will set up a one-week exhibition of products made by young refugees.

On 20 June, UNHCR will organise a football match between a team of young refugees and a team of local youth to promote solidarity between the two communities. Young refugees will also perform traditional songs and dances in traditional costumes from their countries of origin.
