Al Alfi Foundation included 23 refugee children of different nationalities in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics summer camp (STEM) in 2021.The STEM camp lasted for one week in July and was attended by refugee children (ages between 7 – 14) where the students got to explore multiple futuristic STEM careers through interactive, hands-on, and engaging project-based activities.

The camp focused on introducing different science subjects such as robotics, core concepts of coding, engineering to students through fun-based activities and different daily experiments.
In addition, they are equipped with 21st century skills including effective communication, problem solving, creative thinking, and project management.
With the conclusion of the camp, the children were able to watch a show and receive their certificates of attendance.
The camp was implemented by the Nutty Scientists, a world leader in edutainment.
