ALMA: New training and employment opportunities for refugees in Thessaloniki

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and the Inditex Group are collaborating on the ALMA programme to provide training and employment opportunities for refugees living in Thessaloniki.

The programme includes two weeks of paid training, followed by employment placement in an Inditex Group store.

Programme start date: 5 October 2026

How to apply

Interested candidates can express their interest until 25 September 2026 (inclusive) by sending the following documents to [email protected]:

• A CV including contact details.
• A residence permit.
• Any other relevant employment documents, such as an Insurance Registration Number (AMA), Tax Identification Number (AFM), Social Security Number (AMKA), and bank account details (if available).

Candidate profile

The programme is aimed at individuals who:

• Are interested in working in sales positions at Inditex Group stores in Thessaloniki, with the possibility of part-time or full-time employment (20 to 40 hours per week).
• Have a good command of Greek (B1-B2 level).
• Have a passion for fashion and wish to work in a dynamic environment.
