Every year, millions of people are forced to flee their homes. At UNHCR, we work to safeguard their rights and well-being – and have been doing so since 1950. While we receive donations from corporates and institutions, face-to-face fundraising remains one of the main fundraising channels for UNHCR to seek continuous donations from individual donors.

Your support and generosity make it possible for us to continue providing life-saving support to refugees, displaced and stateless people. Together, we protect their basic rights and help them build a better future for themselves and their communities.

What is Face-to-Face Fundraising?

Face-to-face fundraising is one of the most widely used fundraising channels for non-profit organizations, inviting individuals to sign up as monthly donors through fundraisers located in public areas such as shopping malls, transport hubs, and other places of gathering.

Fundraisers representing UNHCR wear a uniform with the UNHCR logo and carry an identification badge. Monthly donations can be made by auto-pay or credit card. For security reasons, please note that face-to-face fundraisers do not accept donations in cash.
