Overview
The establishment of Zakat House in 1982 was to facilitate work on collecting and distributing Zakat. It works on collecting and distributing Zakat and charities in the best, most efficient, and legally permissible ways that suit the rapid developments and the needs of society. UNHCR Kuwait signed an MoU with the Zakat House of Kuwait in May 2000 which entails providing support for UNHCR humanitarian activities and programs.
