Overview

The Global Charity Association for Development (Tanmeia) was established in 2016. A Kuwaiti charitable society that has emerged from the authentic values of giving and charity in Kuwait, strives to provide a distinguished charitable service based on building and developing the human and seeks to provide quality relief that exceeds traditional relief from food, drink, and shelter to education, training, rehabilitation, and development.

So far, the Kuwait Global Charity Association for Development (Tanmeia) contributed towards UNHCR’s nutrition, education, WASH, Shelter and health interventions in Bangladesh, it is looking for further funding opportunities in various MENA operations as well as Bangladesh. The Tanmeia foundation was the first NGO to launch a public fundraising campaign with UNHCR in Ramadan 2020, it has continued to do so in 2021 and will launch another campaign in 2022.
