When refugees flee their homes, they often carry nothing but their memories, hopes, and skills.
In a world divided by conflict, every single Hope Bear is made to connect us. UNHCR Malaysia supports refugee communities to practice their heritage craft, preserve their deep connection to culture, and build self-reliance.
By showing your solidarity and supporting refugee-made crafts, you provide these artisans with a sustainable income, help them rebuild their livelihoods, and establish true independence while living in displacement.
How Your Journey of Impact Works
Step 1: Start Your Monthly Pledge
Choose to stand with refugees by starting a monthly donation from RM60. Your ongoing support gives UNHCR the predictability needed to protect families year-round.
Step 2: Welcome Hope Home
Upon three (3) consecutive successful monthly donations, your handmade Hope Bear will be delivered to your doorstep as a symbol of your shared resilience and kindness.
Step 3: Unlock Mystery Gifts
Your journey doesn't end there! For each subsequent set of three (3) consecutive successful monthly donations, you will unlock a special mystery gift (up to a maximum of 4 gifts total, including your bear).

Directly funds community craft initiatives, giving refugee artisans the tools, materials, and fair wages needed to support their families with dignity.

PROTECTION & REBUILDING
Provides critical legal protection, safe shelter, education, and healthcare access to individuals and families forced to flee conflict and persecution.
Campaign Terms & Conditions
The bear gift is awarded upon three (3) consecutive successful monthly donations.
A mystery gift is awarded upon each subsequent set of three (3) consecutive successful monthly donations, up to a maximum of four (4) gifts including the bear, per donor.
Failed, cancelled, or skipped debits will reset the qualification period.
Gifts are subject to availability and while stocks last.
Applicable to new monthly donors who sign up during the campaign period.
Campaign ends December 2026.
The organisation reserves the right to substitute gifts with items of similar value.
