Peace-building

There is no solution to displacement without resolution of conflicts. UNHCR therefore is engaged in peace-building projects around the peace-humanitarian-development nexus, including to help address the farmer-herder conflict.
To this aim, UNHCR partners with different actors and community leaders, including to help overcome differences that may arise between refugees and host communities before they become a conflict.
