UNHCR Russia is glad to announce an opening at the intern position at the Public Information (PI) Unit. Recent graduates and current students of higher educational establishments who have the desire to provide vital assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced and stateless people are encouraged to apply. Working within the Unit, the selected candidate will learn about the activity of UNHCR in Russia as well as gain hands-on experience in running media campaigns and thematic events in order to raise public awareness about refugees and other forcibly displaced people.

Eligibility:
In order to be considered for an internship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
An individual whose father, mother, son, daughter, brother or sister is a staff member of UNHCR, including a Temporary Appointment holder or a member of the Affiliate Workforce, is not eligible for an internship.
Allowance:
Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to partially help to cover the cost of food, local transportation and living expenses.
