Applications for the Advanced Turkish Language University Preparation Programme are now open

Thanks to two projects co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Turkey, during 2017-2018 academic year, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and UNHCR will provide high school graduates with the opportunity to complete an intensive Turkish language university preparation programme.
At the end of this programme, students will be able to meet the language proficiency requirements for enrolment in Turkish universities.

 
Advanced Turkish Language University Preparation Programme (Urban TÖMER) Application Requirements For Syrians

• Must be citizen of the Syrian Arab Republic registered and residing in Turkey
• Must be under Temporary Protection in Turkey
• Must have a Temporary Protection Identity Document containing Foreigner’s Identity number starting with 99
• Must reside in cities
• Must be between 17-25 years old (born after 01.01.1993 and before 01.01.2001)
• Must have completed High school education (proof of completion could be diploma and MoNE accreditation letter)
• Must have a diploma GPA of 60/100 or above
• Must have intention to pursue higher education in Turkey and motivation& potential to succeed
