2Baba (Innocent Idibia)

Innocent Idibia, known worldwide as 2Baba, is a celebrated Nigerian musician, producer, and entrepreneur. He was named a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador in 2020, marking a formal elevation from previous advocacy work with the agency.

2Baba has supported UNHCR since 2017, including charitable work through the 2Baba Foundation and “Hold My Hand” single, whose proceeds were donated to refugee relief. He has visited refugee-hosting communities in northeast Nigeria, raising awareness through personal outreach and digital engagement.

In 2021, he supported the 36 Million Solutions: Africa Private Sector Forum on Displacement held in Kigali, Rwanda, using his platform to advocate for greater private sector involvement in solutions for displaced communities across the continent.

By integrating music, philanthropy and social action, 2Baba continues to shine a spotlight on displacement in Nigeria, urging resilience, inclusion and solidarity.
