Election of nine additional members of the Executive Committee of the Programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

1 At its 38th plenary meeting, on 1 August 1979, the Council, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 33/25 of 29 November 1978, elected nine additional members of the Executive Committee of the Programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The following States were elected: Argentina, Finland, Japan, Lesotho, Morocco, Nicaragua, Sudan, Thailand and Zaire. The new membership of the Committee is as follows:
