NGOs may partner with UNHCR in joint planning and information-sharing to ensure coherence in operational approaches, to address systemic issues and efficiencies in resettlement delivery, and to ensure consistency in information dissemination to refugees.

UNHCR and NGOs can develop joint advocacy strategies to generate support of resettlement for some groups of refugees / stateless persons in need of resettlement and to encourage the development / expansion of national resettlement programmes.
