UNHCR sends teams to monitor situation in Darfur's border villages

27 Aug 2004 Just back from a trip to the region, the agency's head of operations for the Sudan situation, Jean-Marie Fakhouri, has told reporters that more people could still cross from Darfur into Chad, where the refugee situation is fragile. He also stressed the need to find a political solution to the problem in Darfur.
