Dutch lottery funds for projects in Sudan, Bangladesh and Ethiopia
1 Feb 2007 Holland's National Postcode Lottery has awarded 4.4 million euros to the "Safe in Southern Sudan" project run by UNHCR and three of its partners. The charity lottery also donated 1.3 million euros in unearmarked funds to the UN refugee agency, which will use the money in Bangladesh and Ethiopia. -
