World Refugee Day 2019 - UNHCR Israel

UNHCR celebrated World Refugee Day 2019 in Israel at HaBima Cultural Square with a special evening of public performances by local artists and speeches from leaders of the refugee community.UNHCR Israel representative Damtew Dessalegne delivered the event’s opening remarks, followed by musical and theatrical performances from Alma Zohar, Bilenge Musica, Dream Boys, Holot Theatre, Ya’ar Drori, and writer Yehuda Atlas, and speeches from local organizations including the Alley Runners Athletics Club and Eritrean Women’s Community Center.
