Library Opening Day in Arsal and Hermel

A great day for these kids in Hermel and Arsal: their new library books have arrived! With a generous donation of the European Union, six school libraries in northern Bekaa have now received books in Arabic, English and French. These will be used to strengthen the language skills of both Lebanese and Syrian students in the schools, and give them encouragement to read and learn. Students and their parents were invited to a ‘Library Opening Day’, organized by UNHCR’s partner Terre des Hommes, and enjoyed reading their new books.
