UNHCR staff register refugees at the Douma registration center on the outskirts of Damascus. Registering with UNHCR ensures that the most vulnerable refugees receive aid.

- A photo and art exhibition will be held in a refugee camp.
- An art and crafts display and competition will be an opportunity for the refugees to market their wares.
- Music and entertainment events: music, drama and poetry recitals will be held which will include all ages, groups and genders.
- The day will end with sporting activities and competitions, where refugee teams will play with local community teams in soccer, netball and volleyball. Prizes will be given for the winning teams.
