World Refugee Day 2007 National Activities: Rwanda

Some 400 players took part in a 10-day volleyball tournament organized in three Congolese refugee camps, with the inter-camp finals on 17 June. Sport-related workshops were held in the camps during the tournament. Volleyball matches were also played on 20 June.

Refugees took part in various other events, including dances, singing performances, poetry readings and dramatic sketches focusing on the theme of peace.
