DAFI Annual Report 2024

The 2024 DAFI Annual Report highlights the latest achievements of the UNHCR scholarship programme – including the highest female enrolment rate in the history of the programme (45%) – amidst an increasingly challenging implementation context led by shifts in global funding and reduction in resources to support refugees worldwide. Since its founding, the DAFI scholarship programme has reached over 27,200 students in 59 countries and remains the cornerstone of UNHCR’s strategy to achieve and exceed 15 per cent enrolment of refugees in higher education by 2030 (the 15by30 target).
