Briefings and meetings in 2023
Since the first Global Refugee Forum (GRF) in 2019, UNHCR has convened quarterly informal briefings every year to discuss progress towards implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees and related pledges, initiatives, and global events. In the run-up to the second Global Refugee Forum in December 2023, UNHCR also held formal briefings to update stakeholders on the plans for the Forum.
