Global 15by30 Refugee Higher Education Conference
Global 15by30 Refugee Higher Education Conference

In this section:
Join us for the Global 15by30 Refugee Higher Education Conference to spotlight the role of higher education in sustainable humanitarian response, strengthen refugee youth leadership, and drive towards the 15by30 Roadmap.
Co-convened by the Tertiary Refugee Student Network (TRSN) and UNHCR, and supported by Times Higher Education, this high-level gathering will spotlight the role of higher education in crisis contexts and highlight how institutions, governments, private sectors, donors, youth, and other stakeholders can come together to accelerate progress on the 15by30 target, reaching 15% refugee enrolment in higher education by 2030. The 15by30 Conference is in conjunction with Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025 (GSDC 2025).
The GSDC 2025, co-hosted with Türkiye's Council of Higher Education and convened by Times Higher Education, brings together the world's leading thinkers, policymakers and actors from different sectors to drive new alliances and create positive action for a more sustainable future.
The 15by30 Conference will take place on Day 1 of GSDC2025, followed by 3 days of additional content and sessions, including many that are relevant to inclusive higher education, impact rankings, opportunities mapping and more.
The 3 days following the 15by30 Conference will also be an important time for our community to network and keep the momentum going by:
- Engaging new partners
- Participating in sessions
- Having bilateral and follow-up planning meetings.
