Call for applications: 20th Paralympic Festival in Armenia
In the course of the 2024 Festival, the participants will compete in the following seven sports:
- wheelchair basketball,
- para table tennis,
- para powerlifting,
- boccia,
- para swimming,
- chess,
- para-athletics.
The Para Sports Festival 2024 is specific in that encourages the participation of forcibly displaced people who have physical disability. Professional and amateur athletes from all the provinces of Armenia are welcome to apply. The winners will receive various awards.
The Para Sports Festival aims to engage and empower persons with disabilities by promoting their physical activity and health, and by making sports activities inclusive for everyone so that no one, including refugees, is left behind.
Participants can register by sending the following to these email addresses - [email protected] and [email protected]:
- First name, last name, date of birth.
- Copy of the document proving your refugee status or copy of your passport.
- Copy of the document certifying your physical disability.
- List of maximum two sports that you intend to compete in.
Registration deadline is 10 July 2024, 23:59.
