EPISODE 7: The road ahead
EPISODE 7: The road ahead
These past months, your contribution has been of great support for families like the one of Farida, Abdul and their children. In this last episode of “Between Lives”, you will see how big your impact is on the lives of people who are forced to flee.

Our work continues
In the past months, you have been able to witness firsthand the challenges in the lives of Farida, Abdul and the children. Despite missing their old house, their own customs and their friends, and despite the trauma’s caused by the war, the family is slowly adapting to life in the Za’atari refugee camp.
From Syria, to South-Sudan, from Burundi to Nepal: your support helps people survive
In the coming months, we will keep you posted on the impact of your structural support, and how your contribution means hope and a future for people forced to flee.
Your contribution is even helping in more ways than you can imagine
Your contribution can help bring families back together
When families are ripped apart by war or conflict, the first priority is to bring the family back together. Children panic when they lose their parents in a situation that is confusing and scary in itself. Losing your parents is traumatizing. With your structural support, UNHCR is bringing families back together.
Your support helps people find a new home
Once the situation has stabilized, refugees can return to their country of origin and sometimes even their own home. With your support, UNHCR is able to guide these people back to their own home. But sometimes “home” has been destroyed by the war. And for some people forced to flee returning to their country of origin is simply impossible because the situation remains too unsafe. If people are not able to return home, your contribution helps them make a new start in a new environment. Thanks to you, UNHCR helps families find a new home, find accompaniment and helps them settle in their new environment.
Thanks to you, we help refugees survive
Thank you for creating a better future for people forced to flee
