UNHCR Belarus Publishes New Bi-Annual Fact Sheet (September 2026)

UNHCR Belarus has released its new Bi-Annual Fact Sheet with information as of September 2026.

The Fact Sheet outlines:

• Efforts to strengthen the national asylum system and the quality of the State Refugee Status Determination Procedure, including a September 2026 seminar for central and regional asylum authorities.
• Work to promote the socio-economic inclusion of refugees in line with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2026–2030.
• Key components of the Ukraine refugee response, including the 29th session of the Refugee Coordination Forum and legal assistance.
• Protection monitoring missions, including a joint mission with the State Border Committee to the Brest region.
