Strengthening the participation of internally displaced persons – Workshop report

The primary goal of this workshop – co-hosted by McGill University, the Special Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons, UNHCR, and the IDP Protection Expert Group (IPEG) – was to assemble IDP leaders, UN and NGO experts, key academics, and students to deepen their shared understanding of IDP Participation and its effectiveness and strengthen opportunities for transformative IDP participation in decision-making and governance processes, from local to international levels.
