As there are now more than 80 million forcibly displaced in the world, we reflect on the past, present, and future of the global refugee situation and on refugee protection. The Nordic and Baltic countries have contributed long-lasting and important support – both as generous hosts, providing welcoming homes to refugees, as well as resettlement partners and significant supporters of our global operations.
