- To reduce hostility towards refugees in the host population, a play will be performed by the National Drama Group. Also, UNHCR World Refugee Day's spots will be broadcast on local radio.
- To increase knowledge and awareness, a travelling exhibition in N'Djamena will be held, as well as a press conference, a workshop for journalists and a debate among UNHCR, Government and NGOs on refugee issues will be organized. The French Cultural Centre and Universities will work in collaboration with UNHCR on this project.
