World Refugee Day 2003 National Activity Plan: Cyprus

UNHCR will disseminate reading materials about refugee youth to schools to raise awareness among the young nationals. Refugees will write their stories to be sent to local schools.
In collaboration with the Immigrant Support Action Group and the refugee community, UNHCR will conduct a refugee profiling exercise and release the results. The refugee agency will also invite government officials, members of parliament, lawyers and refugees to a meeting to discuss necessary steps to promote the local integration of refugees.
