This side event will highlight progress made under the Multi-Stakeholder Pledge on Gender Equality and Protection from Gender-Based Violence, and the Avec Elles Pledge, showcasing how coordinated action is driving impact despite a deepening funding crisis. Refugee women leaders, governments, and civil society will share how pledges have translated into tangible improvements for women and girls affected by displacement, while also confronting the compounding risks of gender inequality and GBV. Participants will explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation and help identify priorities to enhance the next GCR Indicator Report in 2027, ensuring that data collection and analysis continue to drive impactful solutions and sustain momentum for the years ahead.
