High Commissioner's trip to Albania and FYR of Macedonia

Mrs. Ogata was in Albania yesterday (8 April) for meetings with the Albanian President, Prime Minister and other authorities, and a visit to the border area at Kukes. Today she is in FYR of Macedonia, where she will staying through this afternoon (9 April).

Today she will meet with the Macedonian President, Foreign Minister, Minister of Labour as well as with NATO's Lt. General Michael Jackson. She will visit the Brazda transit camp where 34,000 refugees are staying and will return to Geneva tomorrow (Saturday) evening.
