Outlining the methodology

The following resources support the development of the assessment methodology. 

They include:

• The assessment concept note, developed at the early stages of the assessment design phase, and
• The assessment methodology template, a more detailed technical document that outlines the approach to be taken for the assessment to be implemented.  

Both documents should be developed with a multi-functional team, ensuring that there is a common understanding on the objectives, analytical approach, and methodology. 

The methodology also includes the sampling approach, and the analysis plan.
