“Hearts for Refugees” is UNHCR Hong Kong’s year-round children fundraising and educational programme for donors, designed to inspire children to become compassionate global citizens.

The Hearts for Refugees programme empowers children to support refugee families, while celebrating their own milestones.
Each Solidarity Hamper is a child-friendly kit designed to spark curiosity, empathy, and sharing:
What’s inside:
- “Together for Refugees: A Guide for Children” – A beautifully illustrated booklet with stickers and games, ideal for young learners.
- UNHCR Shelter Piggy Bank – A build-it-yourself wooden model that teaches saving and sharing.
- Eco Tote Bag – A reusable bag to accompany their giving journey.
💛 Each hamper can be redeemed with a minimum donation of HK$388, supporting UNHCR’s life-saving work for displaced families. Tax-deductible receipts for donations over HK$100.

We warmly invite all schools to join our campaign. Fundraising fairs, classroom activities, or themed assemblies could be co-organized to raise awareness and support refugee families.
