  1. Are there any age restrictions for the films? Are there Chinese subtitles?

None of our films has age restrictions. Both Chinese and English subtitles are available for all films.

  1. Are the films globally accessible?

No. For copyright reasons, the films are only accessible for HK and Macao audiences.

  1. Where can I purchase the ticket? What are the ticketing options?

You may first choose your preferred movies at If you wish to redeem a movie pass for the access to all three films, please visit the designated donation page for a minimum donation of HK$240. For individual films, you can donate a minimum of HK$80 to redeem a movie ticket for each.

  1. Are there any other ticketing methods?

Audiences may also directly purchase one-off online movie tickets at at the price of HK$100. Yet the ticketing expenditure at shall not be regarded as direct donation, thus neither donation receipt nor tax allowance will be available.

  1. If I have donated HK$160/$240 on the UNHCR ticketing donation page, does it mean that I can redeem multiple tickets for the same movie or tickets for multiple movies?

No. Each donation amounting to HK$80 or more (despite the amount) will be equivalent to the redemption of a single one-off ticket. If you would like to redeem another ticket for the same movie, please make another donation on the designated donation page. If you would like to redeem a ticket for each of the three films, you may directly donate for an amount of at least HK$240 for a movie pass on the designated donation page.

  1. Why is there no confirmation email yet after my donation?

If you still have not received the confirmation email for some time after your donation, please check the promotions or junk mailboxes.

  1. How can I obtain or use the movie viewing Promo Code?

Upon successful donation, you will receive our donation confirmation email, and it will provide you with the promo code for free film streaming. After entering the viewing platform, you will have to register for an account with the same email address. Upon successful registration, you may insert your promo code on the section “Enter a promo code” to enjoy the film anytime within the event period.

If you would like to directly purchase the ticket at, please also register an account on the platform and go through the credit card payment accordingly. An email will be sent pursuant to the completion of payment, and the system will automatically allocate the viewing quota to your account. All you need to do is to log into your account to watch the film which you have purchased.

  1. Is there any time limit for my viewing access? Can I watch my chosen film for more than one time?

After pressing “Play”, you will have 48 hours to finish your movie. Within the 48 hours, you will have unlimited access to the film.

  1. Can I watch the movies on my mobile phone, computer, tablet or other electronic devices?

Yes. You can log into your account at on no more than 2 electronic devices. The viewing platform will automatically record your used device on “My Devices”. As for the system requirements for the viewing platform, please refer to the “Help” session located at the bottom of
